Program Description:
Career and Technology Student Organizations(CTSO's) provide many opportunities for personal growth and professional development. Students are encouraged to participate in community service projects, competitive events, and leadership activities.
CTTC CTSO's:
Chisholm Trail Technology Center pays the membership dues so that all students are members of one of the following CTSO's:
- BPA (Business Professionals of America) is a student organization that contributes to the preparation
of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills. BPA for students enrolled in Digital Technologies, Inc.
- HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people. HOSA is for students enrolled in Health Careers Certifications and Practical Nursing.
- Skills USA-VICA prepares America's high performance workers. It provides quality education experiences for students in leadership, teamwork, citizenship and character development.Skills USA-VICA is for students enrolled in Computer Repair and Networking, Automotive Services, and Finished Carpentry.
Students who have outstanding attendance and grades may be selected to participate in the National Technical Honor Society and the Superintendent's Leadership Class.
