Program Description:
Currently, the demand for carpenters and cabinet makers in the construction industry is high. As a growing industry, construction offers you career opportunities in the residential, commercial, and remodeling industries. The program prepares you for doing interior and exterior trim, cabinetmaking, countertops, door hanging, as well as basic construction industry fundamentals. You will learn how to read residential and light construction architectural plans and construction project estimating.
The 1,050 hour program is designed as a two-year program for high school juniors, seniors, and adults.
